Terms of Service
The rules for using Sussex RPC and its community portal.
1. About this community
Sussex RPC is an independent roleplay community. Our website, fictional emergency service records and activities are for entertainment. We are not a real emergency service or affiliated with real emergency services. In a real emergency, call 999.
2. Using the service
When you register, you agree to these terms. Follow the community rules published for the activities you join and the terms and age requirements of Roblox and Discord when using those platforms. If you do not agree to these terms, do not create an account or participate in the community.
3. Your account
Provide accurate account information, keep your password and recovery code private, and only link accounts you control. Do not share access, impersonate another person, or create accounts to evade restrictions. Tell community administrators if you believe someone has accessed your account without permission.
4. Community conduct
Treat other members respectfully. Harassment, discrimination, threats, bullying, sharing someone else's private information, cheating and deliberate disruption are not allowed. Do not misuse reporting tools, submit malicious content, attempt unauthorised access, or exploit security weaknesses. Report suspected weaknesses privately to the administrators.
5. Roleplay records and submissions
Keep fictional incidents clearly within roleplay. Do not submit real-world sensitive information, medical records or financial details. Only upload or share material you have permission to use. You retain any rights you hold in your submissions and allow the community to store, display and review them as needed to operate the portal and handle your requests.
6. Moderation and appeals
Staff may remove content or restrict access to address breaches of these terms, protect members or investigate security concerns. Action should reflect the seriousness and circumstances of the issue. You can challenge a community decision through Appeals or contact the administrators at hr@sussexrpc.uk if you cannot access your account.
7. Privacy
Our privacy notice explains the information the portal stores, who can access it, and how to request access, correction or deletion. Keep staff-only information and other members' personal information confidential.
8. Availability and third-party services
The portal may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, technical faults or issues with connected services. Community roles and access depend on applicable membership and service requirements. Roblox, Discord and other linked services operate under their own terms and privacy policies.
9. Changes and your rights
We may update these terms to reflect changes to the community, its services or applicable requirements. Updates will be published here with a revised date, and significant changes will be highlighted through community announcements before taking effect where reasonably possible. Nothing in these terms removes any rights or protections you have under applicable law.
10. Contact and leaving
You can stop participating at any time. For questions about these terms or requests concerning your account, use Contact HR or email hr@sussexrpc.uk. Record retention is explained in the privacy notice.
